All Knight-Hennessy Scholars applicants must submit their degree program application by the earlier of these two dates: the program’s KHS-specific application deadline or December 2, 2025.
The information provided here is accurate to the best of our knowledge. We recommend that applicants verify the deadline directly with the department. However, if your program’s regular deadline falls after December 2, you must still submit your degree program application by December 2, 2025 to remain eligible for Knight-Hennessy Scholars.

Each incoming Knight-Hennessy scholar must also apply to, be accepted by, and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program(s).
If you have already been offered and deferred admission to enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate program(s) in 2026, or you are a Stanford PhD student who starts your PhD in 2025 and will begin your second year in 2026, then you must submit one application to Knight-Hennessy Scholars.
Otherwise, you must submit separate but concurrent applications; one to Knight-Hennessy Scholars, and one to your Stanford graduate degree program(s). This applies both to candidates seeking admission to their first Stanford graduate degree program, as well as to current Stanford graduate students adding a second graduate degree.

To meet the eligibility criteria for Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS), your MBA program application must be submitted by the Round 1 deadline. Only the Round 1 application deadline for the MBA program aligns with the admission timeline for KHS. Learn more about the MBA program deadlines.
