Q: How many cohorts has Knight-Hennessy Scholars enrolled to date?
A: The first cohort enrolled at Stanford in September 2018. The 2023 cohort is the sixth cohort. 

Q: How many Knight-Hennessy scholars are there to date?
A: The first cohort of 51 scholars enrolled at Stanford in September 2018. The addition of the 2023 cohort of 85 scholars will bring the total number to 425 Knight-Hennessy scholars since the program began. 

Q: Where can I learn more about the application numbers, institutions and countries that are represented in the 2023 scholar cohort?
A: Please see this PDF for a summary of the 2023 cohort. Knight-Hennessy Scholars received 7,119 total applications this year, an increase of 5% from last year's 6,742 applications. Of our total applications, 3,733 were eligible applications for the 2023 cohort. Eligible applications include those prospective scholars who submitted applications to both KHS as well as their Stanford degree program.
