The first cohort enrolled at Stanford in September 2018. The 2025 cohort is the eighth cohort.

The first cohort of 51 scholars enrolled at Stanford in September 2018. The addition of the 2025 cohort of 84 scholars will bring the total number to 597 Knight-Hennessy scholars since KHS began.

Please see this page for a summary about the 2025 cohort. Knight-Hennessy Scholars received 8,570 total applications this year, an increase of 3.6% from last year's 8,271 applications. Of our total applications, 4,946 were eligible applications for the 2025 cohort. Applications are considered eligible when prospective scholars submit applications to both KHS as well as their Stanford degree program.
