OMG-YA KHollective
The Open Middle Grade + Young Adult (OMG-YA) Khollective is a collaborative project to rethink the future of publishing for young readers.
Last year, OMG-YA KHollective curated virtual and in-person publicity events featuring writers of young adult and children books, and our engagement with them has inspired us to more fully commit to our creative consultancy and community engagement. This year, we will scale-up our efforts to support local and international organizations, such as Sherinda Bryant's Afrofuturism Discovery Academy, Sistah Scifi, and Book Fantastics. All of these groups work directly with young readers and will help further our aim of increasing access to speculative fiction as an educational tool.
