Adrien Richez

Adrien Richez, a first-generation American, was raised in Atlanta, Georgia following his parents’ immigration from France. He is pursuing a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics at Stanford, and completed his studies in aerospace engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA). Adrien aims to leverage his multicultural and technical backgrounds to catalyze global cooperation in human spaceflight, proliferating scientific, technological, and medical advancements for all. As a USNA Trident Scholar, he researched computer vision integration for autonomous aerial vehicles, led the USNA Flight Training Squadron, and rowed for Navy’s heavyweight crew. Adrien was involved in constructing the Robotic Repair Satellite launched to the International Space Station and worked at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC). At JSC he collaborated with Artemis II astronauts and engineers in testing and developing the Orion spacecraft procedure trainer’s cockpit instrumentation. He was selected as a student naval aviator and will attend naval flight training after graduate school.
