Annelisa Kingsbury Lee

Annelisa Kingsbury Lee is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School. As an undergraduate at Harvard, she studied environmental science and public policy and East Asian studies, with a particular interest in energy history. She hopes to work on the development of innovative legal and institutional approaches to making global decarbonization pathways fair and effective. At Harvard, she designed her Climate Futures Project to empower students across disciplines and careers to work on climate change. She was also involved in education equity initiatives, founding an AP Success Program in high school and co-leading the free tutoring service EdumateNYC during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is the recipient of the Undergraduate Science Technology and Society Prize, a John Harvard scholar, a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Senior 48, and a U.S. Presidential scholar.
