Aryn A. Frazier, from Silver Spring, Maryland, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in politics and African-American and African studies from the University of Virginia (UVA), and master’s degrees in US history and comparative and international education from the University of Oxford. As a lawyer, Aryn aspires to help free unfairly imprisoned individuals and bend the arc of history toward justice. She was deputy campaign manager and chief of staff for Krish Vignarajah’s campaign for governor of Maryland, and an intern at the Justice Policy Institute in Washington, DC. She was co-director of the Black Association of Rhodes Scholars, president of the Black Student Alliance at UVA, and treasurer of the Black Voices Gospel Choir. She is a Rhodes Scholar and a Jefferson Scholar, and was a TEDx Charlottesville 2016 speaker.
