Ben Vagle

Ben Vagle, from Denver, Colorado, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School and a PhD in political science at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and government. Ben aspires to contribute to policy debates at the intersection of economics, emerging technology, and national security. He worked in economic consulting and government for three years, most recently at the U.S. Treasury Department as an analyst for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. At Dartmouth, Ben received the Rockefeller Prize in International Relations, the Chase Peace Prize, and the Economics Department Outstanding Achievement Award. He is the co-author of Command of Commerce: America’s Enduring Economic Power Advantage Over China (Oxford University Press).
