Chris Dylewski, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, is pursuing a PhD in the Stanford management sciences and engineering department. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a double major in history and political science, and the Harvard Kennedy School with a master in public policy. Chris aspires to help organizations develop and deploy artificial intelligence tools effectively and responsibly. In the Air Force, he flew the F-15E, was a program manager guiding responsible AI policies for the U.S. military, chief of staff for the Air Force-Stanford joint AI Accelerator, coordinated the Five Eyes (FVEY) alliance working group on electric aircraft, and advised a number of senior commanders on technology issues. He is a recipient of the Captain Jon Andrew Rupp Award for Interdisciplinary Excellence, Air Force Academy Association of Graduates Character and Ethics Graduate Education Scholarship, and the Colorado Springs Mayor's Office Spirit of the Springs Award.
