Daniel Reyes Elizondo, from Mexico City, Mexico, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), graduating with highest honors. Daniel aspires to improve the financial health of millions of underserved Latin Americans through the power of technology. At New Ventures, a firm that supports social entrepreneurs in Latin America, he led multiple acceleration programs and business development to increase the firm’s impact scope. He also worked at Muni, a community group buying platform, to provide additional income and savings opportunities in the region. Daniel co-founded Galera, a cultural center focused on providing opportunities for up and coming Mexican artists, and the COVID-19 Response Innovation Lab, a student-run venture building initiative for members of the Stanford community.
