David Edimo, from Silver Spring, Maryland, is pursuing a master’s in business administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business and intends to pursue a master's degree from Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. He graduated with honors from Yale College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. David aims to accelerate the deployment of next-generation energy sources and modernize the relationship between utilities and consumers. Prior to starting at Stanford, David negotiated deals on behalf of Google to deploy first-of-a-kind energy technologies. He also helped a consortium design and launch an advance market commitment for technologies, including nuclear, long-duration energy storage, and carbon capture. At Boston Consulting Group, David advised clients on decarbonization strategy and executed transformations and turnarounds for the U.S. Department of Defense. He has also served as the chair of Abundant Housing LA, an organization dedicated to ensuring all Angelenos can access affordable housing. While at Yale, David and a teammate won the North American Debating Championship.
