David Morency

David Morency, who grew up in the United States and China, is pursuing an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master's degree in public policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. He graduated from Lehigh University with dual degrees in finance and industrial engineering, and from Tsinghua University with a master’s degree in global affairs. David aspires to shape policies that help entrepreneurs—in the United States, China, and around the world—collectively tackle global challenges. He led China research for a global macro hedge fund in the United States and has worked internationally in venture capital investing. At Lehigh, David was recognized as the class of 2018 convocation speaker and as a President’s Scholar. He was also named a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua.
