David Morency

David Morency, who grew up in the United States and China, is pursuing an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He graduated from Lehigh University with dual degrees in finance and industrial engineering, and from Tsinghua University with a master’s degree in global affairs. David aspires to shape policies that help entrepreneurs—in the United States, China, and around the world—collectively tackle global challenges. He led China research for a global macro hedge fund in the United States and has worked internationally in venture capital investing. At Lehigh, David was recognized as the class of 2018 convocation speaker and as a President’s Scholar. He was also named a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua.
