Hadar David

Hadar David, from Hod Hasharon, Israel, is pursuing LLM and JSD degrees at Stanford Law School. He graduated magna cum laude from Tel Aviv University (TAU) with a bachelor of laws degree. Hadar holds a master’s degree in philosophy (graduating first in his class) from Bar-Ilan University, where he is currently a PhD candidate in philosophy. Hadar’s area of focus lies at the intersection of law, ethics, and technology, and he intends to formulate laws and regulations governing new technologies to ensure that they realize their beneficial potential while minimizing their harmful consequences. Hadar served as legal counsel at the International Law Department of the Israel Defense Forces, where he gained experience tackling cutting-edge ethical and legal dilemmas involved in emerging technologies. He received the TAU Academic Achievements Award, the TAU Law Review Seminar Research Award, and the Chief Military Advocate General Prize.
