Hadi Juratli, from Southfield, Michigan, is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in biomolecular science. Hadi aspires to facilitate accessible medical innovation by optimizing healthcare supply chains, particularly in resource-constrained communities. At Michigan, he led a medical surplus redistribution nonprofit, diverting thousands of pounds of excess medical supplies to local free clinics and international partners in Syria and Mexico. As a Fulbright Scholar in Dresden, Germany, Hadi researched the mechanisms of chemosensory dysfunction following viral infection. He also worked as a research associate for a biotechnology market access firm, looking to increase access to newly approved gene therapy products.
