Hannah Fung

Hannah Fung, from Toronto, Canada, is pursuing a PhD in biology at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She earned an honors bachelor of science degree with high distinction from the University of Toronto (U of T). At U of T, she was the associate science editor for The Varsity student newspaper and co-founded the Trinity College French Language Society. As a summer research assistant at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Colorado, she studied the effects of climate change on plant-pollinator interactions. She was awarded the University of Toronto National Scholarship for exceptional academic and extracurricular achievement.
