Katelyn Cranney

Katelyn Cranney, from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is pursuing a PhD in economics at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics with a minor in international development from Brigham Young University. Katelyn aspires to use insights from behavioral, labor, and development economics to close gender gaps in global labor markets. She is currently working on projects on gendered AI adoption and how to use technology to reduce workforce inequality. Prior to coming to Stanford, Katelyn worked as a research assistant at Harvard Business School under the Tech for All Lab at the Digital Data Design Institute. Katelyn was named a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
