Katherine Tang, born in Shanghai, China, and raised in Toronto, Canada, is pursuing a joint MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business and MS in environment and resources at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. She graduated from the Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada, where she was a National Scholar. Katherine is deeply passionate about the intersection of climate action and international development. At the Boston Consulting Group, she advised the world’s largest investors in net-zero asset allocation. Katherine also had the opportunity to work with Energicity in Sierra Leone and Benin, where she spearheaded efforts to bring clean energy to rural communities for the first time. Her international work experience spans seven countries across North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Katherine has served as the head delegate for the Canadian Youth Delegation to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
