Kyle Kua

Kyle Kua, from Metro Manila, Philippines, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master in public administration in international development at Harvard Kennedy School, where he is a Kennedy Fellow. He graduated from University of the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in business and accountancy and is a CFA charterholder and licensed CPA. As COO and CFO of the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), Kyle had the privilege of building the series B fintech startup and using technology to democratize access to investing for millions of Filipinos. Kyle helped grow PDAX from 10 to 300 employees, raised more than $50 million in funding, and launched novel financial products (e.g., government bonds on the blockchain). He also taught finance to undergraduates at his alma mater. Kyle aspires to continue building technology ventures that address pressing social issues, aware of the importance of balancing agility with public sector and regulatory collaboration to achieve widespread and sustainable impact.
