Liam Rahman, from Swansea, Wales, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master’s degree in education at Stanford Graduate School of Education. He graduated from Yale-NUS College, Singapore, with a distinction in his bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics (PPE). Liam aspires to launch and scale an edtech venture to enhance critical thinking and civic participation globally. At Equal Education Partners, as managing director, Liam heads a leadership team of 20 (and over 150 educators) to bolster talent attraction and development for schools, tutor disadvantaged learners, widen access to higher education, and improve STEM education. Liam has also worked in investment management at BW Group and Goldman Sachs in Europe and Asia. Liam was presented a St David’s Award at the Welsh Parliament (Senedd) by Wales’ First Minister in recognition of his success in widening access to world class educational opportunities for students across Wales.
