Moira Casey

Moira Casey, from Lima, Ohio, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School. She previously attended the United States Air Force Academy, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in legal studies with a minor in philosophy. Upon graduation, she commissioned as an officer in the Air Force, and plans to serve as a JAG (military lawyer), focusing on Air Force Policy,  the Law of Armed Conflict, and the intersection of International Law and technology. After her military career, she hopes to work in the field of human rights and mass atrocity prevention. Moira is a STAMPS Leader-Scholar and has completed independent research on genocide prevention, international law, and geospatial technology. She has also worked as an intern at the Colorado Supreme Court, at the NSA, and in a Geospatial Sciences lab tracking mass atrocities in Nigeria.
