Nicolas Beun, from Rosario, Argentina, is pursuing a master’s degree in international policy at Stanford University. He holds a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. As an undergraduate, he was appointed speechwriter to the president of Argentina at age 19 and digital strategy advisor at age 21. After graduating, he served as senior policy advisor and then director of communications in the Office of the Mayor of Buenos Aires. Nicolas has been awarded Fulbright and Chevening scholarships and represented Argentina as a presidential delegate to the G20. He is the son of Korean immigrants and speaks five languages.
