Raleigh Browne, from Mechanicsville, Virginia, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School and a PhD in political science at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. A first-generation college graduate, he holds a bachelor’s degree in classics from Stanford University and a master’s degree in political science and political economy from the London School of Economics, both awarded with distinction. Raleigh is interested in the intersection of foreign and domestic policy, aspiring to promote far-sighted and inclusive governance through research and government service. He previously held research roles at Stanford’s Hoover Institution and Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, served as a Middle East policy volunteer with Biden for President and an action station director with Harris for President, and worked as a high school math teacher.
