Sara Bobok, from Niskayuna, New York, is pursuing a joint JD and master’s degree in education at Stanford. A Hungarian immigrant, she graduated with high honors from Harvard University with a degree in social studies and a minor in mathematical sciences. Upon graduating, Sara spent a year in Hungary spearheading a child trafficking prevention program and working as a strategist for the Momentum political party. Most recently, Sara worked for three years at the Association to Benefit Children, a youth aid organization in East Harlem, where she led and expanded an academic program for 120 students that provided over 10,000 free tutoring sessions during COVID-impacted remote learning. Sara aims to support community-driven initiatives for safeguarding children’s rights, while advocating for inclusive public education and social services to enable every student to reach their full potential.
