Sievlan Len

Sievlan Len, from Siem Reap, Cambodia, is pursuing a master’s degree in international policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. Sievlan graduated as valedictorian from the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) with a bachelor’s degree in global affairs. Sievlan aspires to become a civic leader, devising policies to solve educational and social problems in Cambodia. She has worked as a TOEFL iBT instructor at the Education Development Institute, a sociology research assistant, and interned with the German-based foundation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. She founded and served as editor-in-chief of the Eagle Times student newspaper at AUPP, initiated and organized the first Model ASEAN Meeting at AUPP (MAMA), and helped prepare an exhibition on the Khmer Rouge at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Cambodia. She received the AUPP Outstanding Student Service Awards and a Harpswell Fellowship Award.
