Suhee Cho

Suhee Cho, from Namyangju, South Korea, is pursuing a PhD in psychology at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She graduated with highest honors from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where she double-majored in biological sciences and bio- and brain engineering. Suhee aspires to advance artificial intelligence by drawing on insights from the study of the human brain. At the same time, she notes that an ethical approach is essential for fostering a future in which humanity and AI can coexist. She believes this can be achieved by empowering individuals to discover their own life stories. Suhee has worked in a range of capacities, from mentoring young students to designing educational programs and policies with broader societal impact. Her efforts have served students in South Korea, North Korea, Uzbekistan, and the United States. Suhee received the Korea Presidential Science Scholarship and the Talent Award of Korea.
