Susan McCaw is a businesswoman, former diplomat, and philanthropist. She served as the U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Austria and is currently president of COM Investments, a private investment firm. Mrs. McCaw is a member of Stanford University’s Board of Trustees and a founding board member and board chair of the Malala Fund for Girls’ Education. She is also a board member of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, the Pacific Council on International Policy and the American Austrian Foundation. Mrs. McCaw is a member of Harvard Business School’s Board of Dean’s Advisors, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Council of American Ambassadors. As director of the Craig and Susan McCaw Foundation, she has focused her philanthropic efforts on education and international economic development projects. McCaw earned a BA in economics from Stanford University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
