Sydney Jordan

Sydney Jordan, from Manassas, Virginia, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School and a PhD in philosophy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, with a certificate in Arabic language and culture. Sydney aspires to explore the legal and social implications of corporate social responsibility. She worked at the Community Development Bankers Association advocating for financial institutions serving historically under-resourced communities across the United States. At Princeton, Sydney was a senior captain of the women's basketball team and a recipient of the Citizen-Athlete Award. She also served as chair of the Diversity and Equity Committee for undergraduate student government and as a university chapel deacon. She was awarded the Moses Taylor Pyne Prize and a Class of 1862 Prize for her thesis in moral and social philosophy.
