Taylor Applegate

Taylor Applegate, from Vancouver, Washington, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School. They graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in political science and law, societies, and justice. Taylor aspires to work in international security policy with a focus on emerging technology, governance, and development. As an active duty Air Force intelligence officer, they served as a mission operations commander at the 8th Intelligence Squadron and chief of analysis at the 613th Air Operations Center, where they were recognized as the back-to-back Company Grade Officer of the Year. Taylor also deployed as an intelligence collection manager with Special Operations Command Pacific and served as the 8th Fighter Wing’s executive officer at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. They have received the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.
