Taylor Goss, from Lacassine, Louisiana, is pursuing an MA in music, science, and technology and an MPP in public policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. He graduated with college honors from Louisiana State University with bachelor's degrees in music and entrepreneurship. Taylor aspires to connect musicians and policymakers, using the arts to communicate societal needs and provoke policy change. He combined guitar compositions and field recordings to design the sound of Coastal Voices, a podcast sharing the stories of Louisianans affected by coastal wetland loss. At LSU, he advocated for campus sustainability in student government, interned for the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation, and studied poverty and environmental policy as a Louisiana Service and Leadership (LASAL) scholar. He is a recipient of the Stamps Scholarship.
