Tessa Denning

Tessa Denning, from London, England, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a bachelor's degree in classics. Tessa aspires to reimagine capitalism by championing investment into companies that generate positive social and environmental impact. As a principal at Partners Capital, a global outsourced investment office, she managed multi-asset class portfolios for European institutions, and helped build the firm's responsible investing capabilities. In this role, she collaborated with one of the UK's largest foundations to launch a pioneering health impact portfolio. She was an analyst at JP Morgan, and a member of Partners Capital's responsible investment committee and Imperial College London's research ethics committee. At Oxford, she was president of Balliol College's 750th Anniversary Commemoration Ball. Tessa is married to fellow Knight-Hennessy Scholar Max Denning. (No relation to Denning House.)
