In college, he leveraged imaging mass spectrometry to map the metabolome and lipidome of mitochondrial diseases. He also developed artificial intelligence pipelines to aid the discovery of diseased molecular profiles from experimental imaging data. He received the Barry Goldwater Scholarship, several research awards from scientific organizations, and was UF’s first two-time College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Scholar.
