David Vasquez

David Vasquez, from Brooklyn, New York, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a master’s degree in public policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. He graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in financial economics. David aspires to a career at a nonprofit social impact investment fund, to reduce poverty and income inequality by investing in low-income communities and developing nations. He has worked as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and as an investment associate in the global credit group at Ares Management. After receiving coaching from Sponsors for Educational Opportunity while at Columbia, he started working there as a program manager coaching underrepresented college students of color toward corporate positions.
