Mollie Friedlander, from Del Mar, California, is pursuing an MD and a PhD in developmental biology at Stanford School of Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and neuroscience. She aspires to a career as aphysician-scientist, practicing pediatric endocrinology and heading a laboratory.
