Alexis (Lexi) Doyle, from Los Altos, California, is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and international peace studies, and from the University of Oxford with master’s degrees in medical anthropology and public policy. As a doctor, Lexi aspires to work with policymakers to craft programs, laws, and policies to improve healthcare for the vulnerable. She was a philanthropic research fellow at Stamos Capital Partners focused on NGOs in Cambodia, and interned at American Public Health Association in Washington, DC. In Guatemala, she founded a soap cooperative in partnership with the Primeros Pasos Clinic to increase the availability of soap in schools. She is a Rhodes Scholar, and also received a Hesburgh-Yusko Scholarship at Notre Dame.
