Aaron Spikol, from Allentown, Pennsylvania, is pursuing a PhD in political science at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences, and a JD at Stanford Law School. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and philosophy. Aaron aspires to an academic career researching the relationship between the history of political thought and military science, and is also interested in American national security law and policy. During his time as an active duty armor officer, he served as a platoon leader and executive officer in the 1-14th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Lewis, Washington, and as an operations officer in the 8th Army Headquarters at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. He received the US Army Armor Association’s Order of St. George, and was a member of the Army public policy debate team.
