Eyal Zilberman, from Ramat Hasharon, Israel, is pursuing master's degrees in international policy and public policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. He graduated from Tel Aviv University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, political science, and economics. Eyal aspires to foster democratization and peacebuilding initiatives through the use of technological innovations. He aims to design socially-conscious tech and cyber policies, and promote them by accelerating combined efforts of governments, international organizations, and private corporations. Eyal was an intelligence officer in the Israeli Defense Force, where he received a Brigadier-General award for his outstanding service. He worked as a cyber security analyst and disinformation mitigation consultant in the private sector, and as a policy researcher at the Macro Center for Political Economics. He also participated in various Israeli-Palestinian peacebuilding initiatives and facilitated dialogues between Israeli and Palestinian youth at the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.
