Taylor Barker

Taylor Barker, from Alexandria, Virginia, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, writing his thesis on bank failures in the Great Depression. Through his JD, he aspires to further a more compassionate, equitable, and efficient legal system. Prior to graduate school, he served as a Marine Corps Officer and was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He continues that service in the Marine Corps Reserve. Previously he has worked in private equity renewable energy investing, for U.S. Senator Tom Cotton, and as a high school history teacher. Taylor is married to Veronica Barker, née Wickline.
