Chubing Li

Chubing Li, from Shanghai, China, is pursuing a master’s degree in international policy at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She graduated from Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature, and from Tsinghua University with a master’s degree in global affairs. Chubing aspires to promote China’s collaboration with the world in accelerating the clean energy transition, ensuring equality, affordability, and reliability of energy through policy guidance. She has worked on overseas waste-to-energy projects with China’s second-largest environment technology company, and led operations as a partner at a next-generation battery startup. During her time at Peking University, she has co-founded the first China-Middle East Youth Dialogue, conducted field trips to Lebanon and Jordan, and served as a research assistant at Beijing’s Stanford Center. She was also named a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua.
