Ezra Yoseph

Ezra Yoseph, from Las Vegas, Nevada, is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine. He graduated from Stanford with a bachelor’s degree in human biology with honors and concentrated in neurobiology. Ezra aspires to improve healthcare access and equity in underserved communities through medical innovation and health policy reform. He is the co-founder of Oasis Medical Relief, a non-profit which partners with U.S. hospitals to supply under-resourced Ethiopian hospitals with medical equipment. As national co-president of United Students for Veterans’ Health, a VA hospital volunteer organization, Ezra expanded the group’s reach through the establishment of new chapters. He also helped initiate virtual programming to ensure veterans and volunteers stayed connected throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. For his commitment to public service, Ezra received the Service Leadership Award from Stanford’s Haas Center. Additionally, he was awarded the HB-REX and Bio-X Research Fellowships allowing him to contribute to novel findings in neuroimmunology.
