Ghufran Alkhamis

Ghufran Alkhamis, from Alahsa, Saudi Arabia, is pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering with a focus on energy systems and sustainability at Stanford School of Engineering. She graduated from Stanford University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and was awarded the Reynold's Prize for Excellence in Thermosciences. Afterwards, she graduated from KAUST with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. She is currently finishing up her second master's degree in mechanical engineering at Stanford. Ghufran aspires to be a professor of engineering. She cares deeply about education and plans to integrate ethics into the process of developing future energy solutions.
