Jenni Depew

Jenni Depew, from Appleton, Wisconsin, is pursuing a JD at Stanford Law School and PhD in history at Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with bachelor’s degrees in history and political science. Jenni aspires to use the study of the past to better inform contemporary discussions of American national identity. She has published work on American political history, and been a senior contributing researcher on public history projects including the Lands We Share Initiative, a progressive study of farming across time, space, and culture in the state of Wisconsin. She is a recipient of the 2018 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Chancellor's Award for Excellence for her campus leadership, historical research, and commitment to mentoring other first-generation college students.
