Katie Deal

Katie Deal, from Johnson City, Tennessee, is pursuing a master’s in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in political and social thought, where she researched affordable housing and community development. Katie aspires to create a more just and inclusive economy through policy reform and investment in social innovation. Katie led Public Policy Research at T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, Maryland, where she translated government actions into investment decisions informing the firm's $1.6 trillion in assets under management. Katie also worked in the city to further housing access by serving in leadership roles at the Women’s Housing Coalition and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake. She facilitated the growth and development of cross-sector service platforms through Business Volunteers Maryland, Global Shapers Baltimore, and T. Rowe Price’s “Moonshot” program. Katie will pursue a joint master’s degree in public affairs at Princeton University.
