Krish Mehta

Krish Mehta, from Mumbai, is a joint MBA and MS candidate at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Doerr School of Sustainability. From a young age, Krish was determined to tackle climate change after witnessing its devastating impact on vulnerable communities in India. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, earning dual degrees in business and engineering with a focus on renewable energy. He was hired as an engagement manager within McKinsey’s sustainability practice, where he successfully influenced clients like the United Nations and World Economic Forum to invest in carbon offsets and natural climate solutions. He later joined Tesla, applying his business and engineering acumen to manage the Model 3 P&L and save the company $50 million annually. While at Stanford, Krish hopes to launch a company focused on lowering carbon emissions from hard-to-abate sectors.
