Mohamed Hussein, originally from Cairo, Egypt, is pursuing a PhD at Stanford Graduate School of Business with a focus on marketing. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in mathematics, from Middlebury College. He has volunteered on international development projects in Costa Rica and Guatemala, and interned as a translator for the Japanese Ministry in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. He also worked as an analyst at economic consulting firm Analysis Group in Boston. At Middlebury, he received the Center for Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship, engaging in field research on microfinance in Cuba.
