Nadine Jawad, from Dearborn, Michigan, is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy at the University of Michigan, and a master’s degree in comparative social policy at the University of Oxford. Nadine aspires to work in primary care and global health, and is interested in how war, conflict, and displacement impact an individual's health experiences. She maintains Books for a Benefit, a small, community nonprofit she founded in 2014. Nadine is a recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship and Harry S. Truman Scholarship.
